Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania offers several public routes, but each custodian answers a different question. Centre County's Clerk of Courts holds criminal case files, the Correctional Facility keeps custody records, police agencies retain their own incident reports, and the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository operates PATCH. The Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Website and Department of Corrections serve still other needs. We collect the verified request steps, contacts, fees, and official portals in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: Centre County and Pennsylvania offices that hold each kind of record
- Record guides: ways to search and read Centre County criminal court cases
- Official check routes: PATCH name checks and PSP or IdentoGO fingerprint processes
- Record relief basics: Pennsylvania expungement and Clean Slate filing routes
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Pennsylvania court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every listed address, fee, telephone number, or office hour remains current
Only the issuing court, police agency, jail, or Pennsylvania State Police can supply an official record. The document must come from its custodian.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes. They control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set a partner's charge or decide what its search returns.
